Well... is Hernandez an ass for his comments about the Padres' massage therapist not being allowed on the bench because she's a "girl"? Maybe. But, for god's sake, does everyone who disagrees with the masses have to be crucified at the stake? It's not as if Hernandez' comments prevented her from doing her job.
No matter how many laws are passed, no matter how many sensitivity seminars are held, there's always going to be male and female chauvinist pigs. Why let a few clowns represent the entire species?
